欧洲夫人还是德国妇女?

柏林 —— 安格拉·默克尔怎么搞的?前一阵儿她还被誉为“欧洲夫人”,现如今,她变得越来越像一个德国妇女。在应对全球金融、经济危机的节骨眼儿上,德国这个全欧盟最大的经济体并没有表现出举足轻重的领导力,反而不断缩回到自家的螺丝壳里。

德国一向是欧洲一体化的发动机,这也符合它的政治、经济利益。为了推进这一目标,二战后历届德国政府都愿意动用本国的财力,也就是说,为欧洲埋单。

它们的口号很简单:有付出,才有回报。假如德国拒绝了口号的前半部分,欧洲一体化方案就会受到严重损害,德国的国家利益也会连带受损。然而,默克尔总理似乎正朝着这个不祥的方向走去。
