疟疾的终结?

今年七月,欧盟人类医学监督管理机构批准将RTS,S——一种商品名为Mosquirix的疫苗——用于6周至17个月大的儿童。全球卫生界早已意识到缓解疟疾负担时疫苗的重要性,在制药公司葛兰素史克(GSK)的研究人员开始疫苗研制工作漫长而痛苦的30年后,预计世卫组织将于11月就Mosquirix在疟疾流行国的应用发布公告。
