加州克莱尔蒙特——中国的“太子党”,那些在教育、就业和商务方面享尽特权的人,正前所未有地经受着外界审视的目光。毛的同志及所谓“不朽”革命者的儿子薄熙来,因为腐败及滥用权力的罪名在不久前被判处无期徒刑。

国外的太子党们也同样感到了压力。不久前,美国证券交易委员会宣布正在调查摩根大通在香港聘用、并且显然提供了丰厚承销业务的太子党。

虽然最近的丑闻才让中国太子党进入到媒体耀眼的聚光灯下,但他们一直是西方企业炙手可热的目标。这些企业希望利用其关系获得数十亿美元的交易业务。进行过此类雇佣的金融机构名单与投资银行界名人录如出一辙。
