抗政治经济?

米兰—政府无法采取决定性的措施解决经济的增长、就业和分配问题已经成为各国的主要问题。特别是美国,政治两极分化、国会僵局和不负责任的哗众取宠获得了大量的关注,许多人担心由此造成的经济后果。

但是,一份最新分析表明,一国在某些方面的相对经济表现与其政府的“功能性”基本无关。事实上,自全球金融危机爆发六年来,美国在增长、失业、生产率和单位劳动成本方面的表现都胜过其他发达国家,尽管其国内存在创纪录的政治两极分化程度。

当然,你不能做过多的引申。德国、加拿大和日本的失业率更低。美国的收入分配也比大部分发达国家更不公平,并且发展趋势也十分不利。此外,从整体相对经济表现看,美国显然没有为政治功能失调付出沉重代价。
