黎巴嫩的温和模式

贝鲁特——近几周的全球争论主要集中在美国总统奥巴马阻止“伊斯兰国”扩张势力的倡议。但另外一股势力已不可思议地成为对抗自封的野蛮疯狂伊斯兰领导人的堡垒:那就是黎巴嫩的多元主义。事实上,尽管政治体系有着种种缺陷,但黎巴嫩却能提供在动荡分裂的环境中管理文化多样性和抵制激进主义的模式。

上个月,黎巴嫩军在叙利亚边境附近的阿索尔村迎战“伊斯兰国”武装份子时表现出令人钦佩的勇气。虽然损失惨重——其中包括两名士兵被砍头——黎军却成功迫使盘踞在叙利亚难民营中的大部分武装分子撤退。黎军在必要时仍将继续战斗。国际援助现在正流向黎军,仅沙特阿拉伯一国就已经承诺了超过30亿美元的援助。

但国际社会理应超越军事援助力挺黎巴嫩的真正优势:温和、多元、充满活力的社会。归根结底,恰恰因此特点该国才排除万难成功避免爆发全面冲突,黎巴嫩也因此成为危机肆虐地区的一座希望的灯塔,无论这样的光明是多么微弱。
