ДАВОС – По мере того как глобальная экономика меняется все быстрее, рынок труда во многих странах не то что с трудом поспевает за ней – создается впечатление, что он рухнул по многим важным направлениям. Высокий уровень безработицы соседствует с пустующими рабочими местами. Рост производительности не приводит к росту зарплат. А повышение в должности остается недоступным для многих людей, несмотря на то что экономика начала налаживаться.

К счастью, перемены, кажется, уже происходят. Четыре глобальных тенденции перекраивают мир занятости, помогая разрешить противоречия и преодолеть неполадки на рынке труда, в то время как компании, работники и правительства приспосабливаются к новой демографической, технологической и экономической обстановке.

Первая тенденция – демографическая. В значительной части мира старение общества и уменьшение рождаемости означают, что время, когда работников было в избытке, кончается. Около 60 % населения мира живут в странах, где количество работников не меняется или уменьшается. Пик численности работающего населения Китая был достигнут в 2010 году, к 2050-му же году более четверти его населения будет старше 65 лет (сейчас таких лишь 8 %). В Германии, как ожидается, количество работников за ближайшие 15 лет уменьшится на шесть миллионов.
