奥巴马丢掉了伊拉克?

发自巴格达——奥巴马政府的伊拉克政策目前正处于一点混乱之中。伊拉克大选已经过去整整7个月之久,而在确定伊拉克总理人选的争议中,美国一方面宣布保持中立,另一方面却又暗地支持现任总理努里·马利基。

美国对伊拉克周边的阿拉伯国家施加了巨大的外交压力,以迫使它们接受马利基连任。但大部分努力都白费了。最初,美国支持马利基是为了阻止一部分权力落到萨德尔派手里。而如今看来,这无异于搬石头砸自己的脚,因为除了马利基自己的什叶派政党联盟之外,就只有萨德尔派支持马利基了。

此举还带来了另一个令人担忧的后果:由于马利基同时也是伊朗心目中的总理人选,故美国的外交政策实际上进一步提升了伊朗在伊拉克的地位。更讽刺的是,在核武器问题上,美国一面领导全球孤立伊朗,但同时又令伊朗的区域影响力进一步增强。
