今年5月,以色列海军突击队登上了一艘载有支持巴勒斯坦的激进分子的救援船,并杀死了9名平民,以色列的这一行动非常残暴,引起了非常可怕的后果。以色列对加沙实施的封锁,并占领巴方在西岸的领土,也是制度化暴行的一种形式,更不用说以色列对巴勒斯坦实行的道路封锁、拆毁住宅及其它日常的骚扰行为了。

但是,土耳其总理埃尔多安对以色列的谴责则似乎过于狂热了。他形容以色列对这艘激进分子搭载船只的袭击是“对人类良知的一次攻击”,将“遭到一切形式的诅咒”,埃尔多安还说,这次袭击将是“历史上的一个转折点”,之后“一切都将改变”。当人们对以色列历届政府(我认为并不仅是本届政府)加以评论时,相对于其它国家领导人所犯下的罪行,外界对以政府支持的暴力行为的抨击(不仅来自于土耳其)都更猛烈些,除了对美国的谴责外。其实在许多评论人士看来,美以两国通常是一体的。
