中国正在失去外交方略吗?

发自新加坡——如果以购买力平价计算的话,中国占全球经济的比重将在2016年超过美国。这一切堪称是一场震惊世界的发展:须知1980年时美国占了世界生产总值的1/4,而中国只有区区2.2%;但在展现了30年的地缘政治竞争力之后,中国人似乎正在自废武功的边缘徘徊——何况如今正是最需要这种能力之时。

如果中国领导人希望利用本国的和平与低调发展来夺取全球霸主地位的话,那就未免太过天真和愚蠢了。因为迟早有一天美国将从地缘政治的沉睡中觉醒;种种也迹象表明:后者早已睁开了一只睡眼。

但中国已经开始犯下一系列严重错误。2010年9月日本在中国压力下释放了逮捕的中国渔船船长,但中方仍不罢休,要求日方道歉,并不断向日本执政当局施压。
