事实上,印度有着令人眼花缭乱的地方税体系。例如,印度的州商业税需要在各州边界设立关卡,等候通关的卡车排成长队。结果导致国内货运费用成为物流噩梦。销售税五花八门,跨越各州边境的国内消费品还要缴纳“货物入市税”。欧盟是28个主权国家组成的共同市场,而印度却是拥有29个独立市场的单一主权国家。
