三十年前,澳大利亚的船只在政府的支持下在澳大利亚的西海岸捕杀抹香鲸。上个月,澳大利亚带头对日本计划捕杀50头座头鲸的行为发起国际抗议。日本在越来越大的压力下宣布它将把这项计划搁置一到两年。公众对捕鲸行为的看法已经发生了戏剧性的改变,这样的改变把仅仅发生在澳大利亚。
