新加坡——美国国务卿希拉里·克林顿定于7月再访亚洲,与东盟地区论坛外长会晤,并访问印度。2月首访亚洲时,她用开放的态度、合作的意愿和明星的力量形成了与过去可喜的对照。她让亚洲人重新审视美国。

但这次访问更需要技巧。挑战之一美国和克林顿的部分计划是由别人制定的。北朝鲜在导弹试验后登上了议事日程,还有缅甸也因将军们坚持以无关紧要的理由起诉世界最著名的在押政治犯昂山素姬登上了议事榜单。
