欧盟小国高度的紧张状态

欧盟两个创始国比利时和荷兰正在对欧盟计划的内涵产生越来越多的分歧。《欧盟改革条约》现在成了它们争议的焦点,但争议的原因却没有那么简单。在某个时刻,按照媒体的报导,他们的争吵变得如此激烈,以致于法国总统尼古拉·萨尔科齐都不得不出面干涉。

欧洲禁不起这两个创始国之间无休止的争斗,因此已经到了把感情放在一边,审视这两个国家在欧洲未来融合路线上存在分歧的时候了。作为荷兰负责欧洲事务的国务卿和荷比卢经济联盟协调员,我相信荷兰和比利时可以再一次发挥互补的作用。
