纽波特比奇——埃及草根革命两年后,国内经济陷入到令人忧虑的螺旋下降周期。国内外越来越多的人开始将经济增长脱轨、外债负担加重、国际储备缓冲消失的乱象归咎于革命本身。

埃及目前的经济困境不应归咎于革命。但鉴于过去几个月国家经济形势持续恶化,这种想法的出现也可以理解。经济增长乏力、失业泛滥、新增投资大幅下降等让本已困顿的财政、社会和政治条件更加复杂难解。埃及正受到多重恶性循环的威胁。

国内供应中断在引发通胀的同时加剧了预算不堪补贴重负的问题。供应中断导致外部财政疲软及国际储备锐减,只能靠国外特殊存贷款来加以控制。
