欧洲的圣战一代

马德里——他来自阿尔及利亚,想要过上更好的生活,憧憬着从贫困、压迫和绝望中摆脱。他在巴黎找到了一份技术要求不高的工作,之后生育子孙。身为法国公民,他们拥有接受教育和医疗的权利。但却在环绕法国各大城市的贫民窟中长大,可以说身处社会边缘,周围都是和他们境况类似的家庭。因为始终无法完全融入,他们鲜有机会取得经济上的成功。他们从未得到想象中的天堂。

同样的故事在西欧国家已经重复了数百万次,那里的移民及家庭过着被排斥的贫困生活。最坏情况下,他们被看似为其提供所缺元素的极端组织招募,因为极端组织为他们提供了无法获得的归属感、认同感和目的感。在终其一生无法融入主流社会后,参与更宏伟的事业似乎值得付出谎言、自我毁灭乃至死亡的代价。

在挫败针对巴黎讽刺杂志查理周刊和比利时的另一次恐怖袭击后,欧洲需要认真地审视自身。我们必须认识到第二和第三代移民很容易受到恐怖组织花言巧语的蛊惑,因为成为欧洲公民并没有为他们带来社会和经济领域的包容。如果一定要说有什么,那么因多年危机而不断加剧的不平等正在使问题变得更加糟糕。
