欧洲的反恐斗争

三年前的这个月,国际恐怖主义打击了欧洲。在马德里火车站的一连串炸弹攻击中,伊斯兰恐怖份子杀害了191人,2000多人受伤。上个月,这一袭击的嫌疑犯在西班牙的法庭出庭受审。

宣称以伊斯兰的名义行动的暴力极端份子在2001年9月11日对美国的恐怖攻击之前和之后袭击了全世界的许多国家。但是对马德里的袭击以及2005年7月对伦敦的袭击表明,欧洲是他们的主要目标之一,从而促使欧洲国家政府通过包括在欧盟的层面上加强防备予以应对。

在过去的三年中,欧洲的港口和机场的安全标准得到了加强,使用了生物护照,而且锁定了恐怖份子的资金。2000多名恐怖嫌疑犯以及其他主要犯罪嫌疑犯被捕并且根据欧洲逮捕令予以引渡。
