蒂宾根-许多人说世界金融危机是不可能预知的。或许金融家和经济学家不能预知这次金融危机,但是,其他那些关注市场发展的人——通常带着惊慌——就不仅仅只是担忧了。

早在1997年,我就在我的作品《全球政治和经济的全球伦理》中,发出了对1929-1933年式的经济秩序崩溃再现的警告:“例如,美联储主席阿兰·格林斯潘在1996年12月月初的 ‘非理性繁荣’已经导致金融市场高估这样最轻微的评论,就足以使亚洲、欧洲和美国处于高位的股票市场高度紧张的投资者陷入恐慌性抛售。这也显示了全球化危机不是一个先验平衡,而是或许变得日益糟糕了。”

那时,我已经大胆提出对经济学家来说是一个异端的假定:混沌理论应该被应用到经济学上;最小的原因都可能导致毁灭性的结果。人们绝对不能排除“世界经济危机以及1929-1933年式的世界经济秩序崩溃的重演”。
