对Facebook的激愤

阿姆斯特丹——最近Facebook对其近700,000用户进行的心理实验已经引发了强烈的反响。为衡量Facebook“新消息”如何影响用户情绪,该公司临时设计了一种新算法,对部分用户显示相对积极的信息,而对另一部分用户则相反。事实证明,人们发帖的语气受到了朋友帖子的影响。

但人们在愤怒之余却遗漏了某些最有趣的问题,而(像往常一样)只集中在Facebook不照顾人们情绪这一点上。人们似乎对明显的问题并不在意,那就是结果是反应了真实的情绪改变,抑或只是有意无意想要融入朋友圈的愿望。

让人们愤怒的是Facebook利用不知情的用户来推进自己的计划,很多人都列举了研究的保密性来证明公司的行为不当(虽然公司发布结果时并没有明显不安的感觉)。但尽管Facebook缺乏透明度——且无视客户的担忧——肯定令人不安,但所有这些投诉都有些不得要领。
