埃伦·约翰逊·瑟利夫当选利比里亚总统标志着女性在非洲大陆所取得的进步,埃伦是受到推举管理非洲国家的首位女性。女性占卢旺达议会50%以上的席位也让我们感到骄傲,卢旺达女性议员的比例居世界之首。在两性平等排名表中名列前茅的还有南非和莱索托。
