巴黎—两百年前,1814年9月25日,俄国沙皇亚历山大一世和普鲁士国王威廉三世来到维也纳,受到奥地利皇帝弗朗茨一世的欢迎。维也纳会议的召开带来了数百年以来欧洲最长的和平时期。那么,为何此事的纪念日完全被忽视了呢?

诚然,维也纳会议常常被视为标志着拿破仑倒台后反动势力的胜利。但是,考虑到如今全球一篇混乱甚至动荡的局面,类似于维也纳会议的“普鲁士式”乡愁也许并不算差。毕竟,这次会议通过艰难但成功的谈判重建了法国大革命和拿破仑战争所造成动剧变的国际秩序。这给今天带来了什么教训?

为了回答这个问题,我们不仅应该考虑1815年的《维也纳条约》(Treaty of Vienna),还应该考虑1648年的《威斯特伐利亚和约》(Peace of Westphalia)和1919年的《凡尔赛和约》(Treaty of Versailles)这三次和约以各自的方式结束了欧洲历史上的血腥篇章。
