黄热病归来

西雅图—最近的西非的埃博拉疫情爆发的恐怖尚未在人们脑海中散尽,寨卡病毒便崛起成为全球主要健康威胁之一,目前令南美、中美和加勒比地区研究者和医生们焦头烂额。但另一种病毒——黄热病的致死人数正在迅速上升。

在非洲西南部,安哥拉正面临严峻的黄热病传染疫情——这是30年来首次在这里爆发黄热病疫情。自去年12月黄热病病毒在安哥拉首都兼最大城市罗安达现身以来,已经夺走293人的生命,疑似传染病例2,267人。目前该病毒已经蔓延到安哥拉十八省的六个。旅行者已经将黄热病带到了中国、民主刚果和肯尼亚。纳米比亚和赞比亚也处于高危预警中。

黄热病病毒由埃及伊蚊传播——和寨卡病毒一样。其症状包括发热、肌肉疼痛、头痛、反胃、呕吐和疲劳。至少一半的重症病例如果得不到治疗将在10—14天内死去。
