过去两年来,我曾经处理过许多危机,从达尔富尔和民主刚果共和国到粮食危机和气候变化这样的全球挑战。可是这次金融危机独一无二,而且很可能让人们难以抵御。

曾经纯粹的金融危机现在已经演变成一场蔓延全球的经济危机。人们调低了所有的增长预期。尽管有迹象表明成熟经济体正在从冻结信贷市场的恐慌情绪中逐渐恢复,但我们还远远没有渡过危险期。
