中国的受害综合症

在中国那个巨大的国家,现在正进行着一场关于中国精神的辩论。两种强大的力量和对待外部世界两种截然不同的态度互相对抗。结果必然会对中国能否成功地与外部世界建立真正具有建设性的持久关系产生巨大冲击。

一方面,中国的经济革命帮助中国找到了自己在世界上的位置:可靠的贸易强国,更有责任感的全球权力代理,甚至是令人放心的军事力量。但另一方面,中国依然为过去所困,其思维方式充满了受害意识,诱使其将内部问题归咎于外部责任。

最主要的问题是,中国能否逃出这种古老的心理综合症的束缚(在整个20世纪,这种综合症使中国沉浸于感伤之中,认为自己弱小、不安全、受人羞辱,这种多愁善感削弱了中国的力量),重新看待整个世界,甚至自己的宿敌,并以此来引导自己的发展?
