从1984年首次与全球互联网接通11年后的今天,挡在国际与中国网络的代理服务器中的防火墙,依然比柏林墙更加坚固实用。而且,随着国际宽频需求的增长,用8亿美元巨资建立的“金盾工程”,以道高一尺,魔高一丈的公安自动化数位科技系统,阻挡着中国人的知情权,延长着共产党的统治。中国的金钱与西方智慧的溶合,竟打造出了一把斩断中国人走向民主自由的利剑。

与海关的不同之处的“网关”,主要是过滤和监察中国当前的政治信息。其技术功能是封锁国外网站,过滤网页内容和关键字,并监控电子邮件、网吧、劫持个人电脑、发送病毒、与公安局监控系统联网等。可以说,奥维尔在《一九八四》里预言的“全面监控着世界”,己在中国实现了,从2005年4月15日起,“金盾”正以现代科技的佼佼者,控制着中国人的一切思想行为。只是奥维尔没想到的是,这一切,全是民主的西方国家去专制国家建成的。

今天中国是世界上唯一创造出“网络政治犯”这一罪行的国家,上网发表文章称为“作案”,“观点偏激”是进监狱的罪行。而建立这一整套杀人系统的犯罪者;加拿大北方电讯(NORTEL)和美国的思科公司(CISCO)及太阳公司(SUN MICROSYSTEM)的人,肯定正住在中国的五星级宾馆里。
