中国的互联革命

发自纽黑文——作为一个有着悠久碎片化历史的国家,中国正被一种新的联系工具以前所未有的方式连结在了一起。该国的网络社区正急速扩大,不但深刻影响了整个经济,还对社会行为模式和政治体制造成了冲击。这是一个无法被赶回神灯的幽灵:一旦联通起来,就没有回头路可走了。

这条转型之路是非常激动人心的。根据世界互联网统计中心(Internet World Stats)的数字,中国的网民数量自2006年以来已经翻了三倍有多,并于2011年中期达到4.85亿人。此外中国面向互联性的狂飙还远未停止:在2011年中期,13亿中国人中只有36%能够上网——这个数字相比韩国,日本和美国等地高达80%的渗透率来说还是偏低。

事实上,随着互联成本大幅下降——中国的手机用户数量预计将在2013年超过个人电脑用户——还有城市化以及人均收入大幅上升,中国的互联网渗透率将在2015年越过50%的门槛就毫不意外了,而因此增加的人数相当于美国当前所有网民数量的3/4。
