从‘研究’到‘开发’的更好方法

华盛顿贝尔维尤——在商业领袖汇聚一堂探讨行业创新时,他们往往将重点放在改善基础研究或建设技术中心及孵化器的政府资助行动上。但上述讨论往往缺乏最终产品这一“创新”的关键元素。

这并非疏忽。恰恰相反,缺乏以产品为核心的讨论恰恰表明几乎所有行业和大大小小的企业所面临的问题要严重的多。简言之,产品开发在创新战略中处于次要地位,因为创意和商业化之间的金融联系被切断了。

要想实现经济繁荣,需要推动好的理念走向市场。毕竟创新产品让生活更健康、更高效也更快乐。但有充分的证据表明开发——也就是研发中的“发”——并未能够跟上“研究”——也就是现代研究惊人的发展速度。
