平衡失衡的世界贸易

现在绝对是全球经济的美好时光,但是美时光很少会使人们真正主动去解决困难的问题。正是在这种背景下我很高兴地看到本周末几大经济体联合作出声明,表示它们在保持经济强劲增长的同时,将共同努力寻求有序解决全球贸易失衡的问题。

在过去一年里,中国、欧元区、日本、沙特阿拉伯和美国相互之间以及与国际货币基金组织讨论了这些方案。在多少有些令人生畏的“多边商讨”的标签背后,它们进行了第一次此类形式的讨论,并且这被证明是处理全球重大问题的一个行之有效的手段。

这五大经济体以不同的方式与当前的全球贸易失衡有关联。要么因为它们当前的经常项目逆差或顺差,要么它们的产值在世界上占据了很大的比重。它们一致同意解决这种失衡的状况符合它们自身的利益。但是它们同时也认识到这对它们是一个多边挑战,它们应共同担负责任。
