新德里——18天来,随着抗议活动的起起落落,没人能够想到埃及革命的结尾会来得如此突然,不过是一则不到半分钟的简短公告。 “胡斯尼·穆巴拉克总统已辞去总统职务…” 话音甫落,随着震耳欲聋的胜利的欢呼,一个时代落下了帷幕,这正应验了一句老话“全世界的墓地里都埋葬着自以为对国家不可缺少的角色。”

今后从开罗传来的消息也许并不鼓舞人心,但我们永远不要忘记埃及已经迈出重要的一步,这一步对全体阿拉伯人都具有重要的现实意义。 毕竟,埃及是阿拉伯世界的心脏、大脑和神经中枢。 没错,埃及曾经催生了激进的穆斯林兄弟会,但它也同样是伊斯兰社会主义和反殖民主义、阿拉伯团结的发源地,而今又以民主的方式肯定了人民的意志。 阿拉伯人不需要民主的弥天大谎已经被彻底揭露。

在伟大的孟加拉诗人泰戈尔流芳百世的诗句中,埃及(如今)是“昂首挺胸、无所畏惧…”的土地。此次革命影响之深远毋庸置疑。 古老的阿拉伯土地欢欣鼓舞。 执政数十年,看似不可动摇的独裁政权发现统治已经不再稳固,变革正在不知不觉中悄然发生。过去与美以等国签订的条约已经不再像以往那样是保证国家政策的工具。
