自由贸易会让非洲沦为病夫吗?

内罗毕—本月早些时候,冈比亚成为第22个签署建立非洲自由贸易区(AfCFTA)协议的国家。只要22个国家将它们的批准文件递交非洲联盟(目前已有19个国家递交),该协议预计很快就将生效。

AfCFTA将消除贸易壁垒,实现商品、服务和人在整个非洲的自由流动,到2030年,将帮助非洲消费和商业支出总额提升到6.7万亿美元。但这一新贸易区对十亿多非洲人的健康的影响很少有人讨论。这是个令人警惕的疏忽。
