一场事关气候的“天鹅绒革命”?

发自布达佩斯——从哥本哈根当下的讨论中可以得知,我们这个地球的气候问题已经到了最危险的时候。而虽然许多参与者都意识到了问题的严重性,但他们的所作所为却似乎预示着一切照旧就行了。然而这种方法是行不通的。这个世界需要与自己的过去来一场果断的决裂,而且这种决裂必须立刻启动。

幸运的是,我们已经有了一些彻底颠覆国家经济和政治图景的先例——比如在和平的气氛和民众的激情支持下,20年前中东欧共产主义体制的崩溃以及新的民主政治和市场经济的建立,就堪称一个与过去决裂的,有正面效果的决定性事件。

这种政权更替不仅要求人们改变自己的生活方式,同时也要对其思维方式加以革新。而目前全世界所需要的生态革命——向低碳经济和低碳生活方式的转变——也需要这么一种综合性的变革。
