给小泉的一堂历史课

中国和韩国又一次爆发了反对日本首相小泉纯一郎一年一度参拜靖国神社的抗议活动。小泉坚持拜祭埋葬有二战战犯的靖国神社,多年来一直损害着日本与邻国的关系。实际上,中国主席胡锦涛一直声称不与参拜靖国神社的日本首相举行首脑会谈。大部分中国人认为参拜是美化日本过去侵略和殖民历史。

甚至日本一些人也开始对小泉持批评意见。虽然公众仍旧觉得中国人对日本爆发愤怒不可理喻,但是最近一项调查显示70%多的日本人认为日中关系当前的这种状态不可接受。更多的人不支持小泉每年参拜靖国神社,七位前首相联合要求他放弃参拜。

然而小泉却一意孤行。而且,最有可能接任他的内阁官房长官安倍晋三已经公开宣布他担任首相后将继续参拜靖国神社。另一个可能接替小泉的人,外相麻生太郎呼吁日本天皇去参拜靖国神社。
