• The Mismeasure of Poverty

  How can you measure poverty with all these indices. Can you truly measure poverty when the people ,measuring poverty have never been poor and never know what it means to be poor. How can you study what you don't understand. This is another economic fallacy.

• The Triumph of Fear

  We are simply living for the fear of something in the present world. Africa has challenges with leadership and fear of failed states and unending civil wars and insecurity. Fear and risks everywhere and we are not jointly and commonly talking about the fundamentals of these fears and the changing landscape. The gap between the poor and rich growing and this will raise is ugly head someday.

• The Iraq War Ten Years Later

  Nothing will ever justify going to iraq.Remember Bush went their alone. many of the Western government never believed the presence of WMD.Let ths iraqis solve their problem,which by the way might take them another decade to do but when all this is done,they will still remember how the american armies and government killed their families and citizens for no justifiable reason. Do they have to go to war and kill many civilians to effect a regime change.History and propeity will judge Bush and the Americans.

• Writing the Future

  Greed & corruption bane of african leadership and why is that still a mystery.Problems is that most finance ministers in africa study oversea and will always use US,Europe and the likes as the basis for their economic theory which ends up meaning so little. For example, Nigeria is growing macroeconomically but poverty in increasing by the day and what is the meaning of the growth. US & Europe are struggling ad they care more about their own economies than others and this affect their attention to others.The world i belief need a chnge of idea when it comes to growth and wealth. It should not be about how much money or GDP but rather the quality of life we can achieve.

• Taking Faith Seriously

  One of the very best article i have read when it comes to effect of religion on our way of lives and relationship with others.Religion can be used to good effect if their is better understanding and als to devastating effect if we try not to understand it.We need to try to understand other people culture and how they understand issues rather than thinking that the way we see thing is the best.Why do we have terrorist,it is more of resistance than trying to justify anything.
